Foundry Moulds INSUTAL-796 is a tundish covering compound which is applied to prevent heat loss during casting. It is said to be perfect for use in steel making industries as insulating powder and is admired for being completely non-toxic in nature. This powder is also known to maintain constant temperature in tundish which results in casting of uniform quality ingots. It is made using precise amounts of Al2O3, SiO2, CaO, MgO, & Fe2O3. It possesses low thermal conductivity that helps in insulating top part of tundish throughout casting process.
